Increadible Shots

Depending on which package you have chosen, you need to decide several things: 1)what you are wearing. 2)what you want to incorporate into your session 3) the location(s) you want to use in your session
This can seem overwhelming- don’t panic! I’m here to help!
If you chose one of the packages with multiple outfit changes, I usually suggest a casual outfit (jeans and a favorite tee or sweater etc), a more dressy outfit (a flowy skirt or cute dress for the girls, and a nicer shirt/pants for the guys if they are into that), and then a sports jersey to whatever outfit coordinates with what you want to incorporate into your session. For example, one of my recent seniors wanted some images with her violin, so she wore a very long, flowy, dressy dress for that part of the session and they turned out simply gorgeous.
My absolute MAIN TIP: DO NOT make your senior wear something they don’t want to wear, wouldn’t normally wear, or are not comfortable in!! It will always show in their images! Even if it’s not your favorite t-shirt, let him wear it- the images you get of him will be so much more confident, authentic, and relaxed than if you made him wear a polo that he would never choose to wear in real life.
Ideas of things you might want to incorporate into your session: sports, instruments, hobbies (I’ve done a coffee shop for the coffee lovers, a D&D board and dice, Marvel Comics, etc..) basically anything your senior is super into right now- I can make it happen! I love capturing their true, authentic self! If you need help navigating and brainstorming this part of the session- I’d love to help.
Locations are such an important part of your senior Session. Depending on how many locations your package allows, I usually suggest doing an outdoor location, a location that coordinates with your props (going to the baseball field if we are doing a baseball jersey etc), and then possibly an urban/downtown location as well. The final decision is always up to you, of course, but I’m happy to help you make those decisions.
In a nutshell- BE YOU! I want to capture who you are right now. You want to look back on your senior pictures and know that we captured who you truly were in this pivotal year of your life. Can’t wait to make some memories for you!
