One of the top questions I get asked about is what location you should choose for your session. I compiled all my favorite Billings locations and what I like about each one. Of course, I’m always up for a new or cool location, too!

Riverfront Park

  • Great outdoor location
  • Lots of trees, greenery (or fall colors in the Fall), trails, and a small lake with a small bridge
  • Near the Yellowstone River on the other side of the Park
d and want to make your session super personal and unique? I can come to you- this is, after all, where you are most comfortable and your one of a kind  images will be a treasure for years to come.

Norm’s Island

  • Great outdoor location
  • Has both options of outdoorsy backgrounds with trails and great colors in the Fall
  • Has an old wooden boxcar for an added option for backgrounds

Oscar’s Park (Off of the Frontage Road on the way to Laurel)

  • Super fun and quirky location
  • There are lots of old buildings on the property as if it was an old town- this lends itself to many different background choices
  • This is private property, so I need to get prior permission from the owners to be able to use this location

Downtown Billings

  • What can I say? I love downtown sessions, there’s just so much variety and endless options.  Every time I do a downtown session, I find new backgrounds and architecture. The light is hitting something in a new way I never saw before, or something jumps out at me.
  • This option is great for all types of sessions

Red Lodge Locations

There are so many amazing spots in Red Lodge, but I wanted to highlight just two of my favorites:

Writing result-oriented ad copy is difficult, as it must appeal to, entice, and convince consumers to take action. There is no magic formula.
